Finally, the wait is over. Facebook has announced today, Monday, October 10, 2011 that it has released the popular social networking’s websites web application for the iPad. No longer will iPad users have to use the regular iPhone app blown up to 2x larger. The interesting thing about this launch is that it had been rumored for quite some time, but finally has been released.

Apple and Facebook have been negotiating for months after the two companies disagreed about Facebook’s integration with Ping, Apple’s music-focused social network. This slowed the process of the applications release.
Where do I Download the App?
Currently, you can download the iPad app at https://www.facebook.com/mobile/ipad .
